You Can Now Check-in for KLM Flights Using Facebook Messenger

Facebook also updates new feature for users and this time, Facebook a providing ways to get free from check-in issues. Yes! Facebook Messenger was only known for chat services, but now it will offer new and helpful feature for the KLM passengers. Facebook had launched a new feature by which the KLM Royal Dutch Airlines passengers can receive flight updates via Facebook Messenger.

This new feature will help the passenger to get the booked ticket updates, confirmation chat, light status,  and notifications related to any scheduling changes. Facebook Messenger will send over a boarding pass by which the KLM passengers can get the security and updates about their scheduled flight.

KLM has said that this Facebook messaging service will be available to all of its passengers that book flight ticket via their website. KLM has almost 15 million fans over on Facebook, which indicates that it’s not a small airline at all. Serving Europe as well as many other destinations in the world. Facebook had listed all the essential features for KLM Messenger that will roll out within the approaching weeks and months. David Marcus, who leads the Messenger team at Facebook, is very excited for this new project for KLM passenger. He said,”This is one that I’ve been personally eager to solve for a while.” Marcus also said, “Removing stress, and complexity from air travel and I am very happy since  KLM is the Facebook’s “first airline partner,” that’s really cool!”

Facebook had already partnered with Uber by which user can quickly request an Uber from  Facebook Messenger App, without opening the Uber app. You can also get complete details on your Uber from the Facebook Messenger app that really a great experience. And, now It’ll be more interesting to see how many KLM passengers literally decide to use Facebook Messenger to get updates about their airline tickets.
